STOKE VS CHELSEA: BUILD UP

The blues have gone on a great run and we are looking for 3 points at the britannia stadium on Saturday. Stoke are strong at home and are coming off a 4-0 VICTORY against newcastle united. We can't under estimate them and it will be a tough battle against the Potters. With only 3 players out with injury, John Obi Mikel, Yossi Benayoun, and Alex we look a strong side. Yossi and Alex are getting back to match fitness and will add even more choices for our gaffer Carlo. If he wants any, with Malouda, Anelka, Drogba, Torres, Lampard and Essien its going to be hard for Yossi to get any Prem starts this season. Alex has his own competition with David Luiz arriving in the January transfer window. As for Stoke, a great win against Newcastle shows that they are looking forward to going head to head with Bolton in the FA Cup Semi-Final at the Reebok. This is my predicted team:

                                                                    Cech

Cole                                 Luiz                           Terry                                   Ivanovic

                                 Essien                            Lampard

  Malouda                                     Torres                          Kalou

Identical to the one that defeated City at the bridge, I liked the partnership between Kalou and Torres with Malouda and Cole driving down the left. Luiz and Terry are rock solid in defence and are looking for another clean sheet.

CHELSEA VS LIVERPOOL

Its always tough against the reds, and with the return of 'King Kenny' it is surely going to be no different. But signing Fernando Torres for a record £50 million pounds is going to help us quite a bit. The former red has been knocking goals in at Stamford bridge for over 3 years, but hopefully come Sunday, he will be scoring for the Champions of England. We have seen both victories and losses at the bridge against liverpool, but with the spanish wonder Fernando Torres most likely in our line-up its going to be a huge weight of the Ancellotti's chest. Chelsea go head to head with Liverpool on Sunday, but what's the line-up? I pretty much got it figured out for liverpool. With new signing Andy Carroll out with an injury, so when it comes to height, the teams are pretty even.
However JT will have to worry about another great signing by the Scousers, Luis Suarez. He was a star at the World Cup alongside Diego Forlan, making up one of the best striking partnerships in the World Cup. The Uruguay international will be a threat, and our defense has been vulnerable the past months, so we have to be aware. For Liverpool here is what I think will be the line-up:

                                                                Reina

Martin Kelly              Martin Skrtel       Daniel Agger     Glen Johnsson

Maxi Rodriguez      Steven Gerrard        Raul Meireles      Dirk Kuyt

                                                          Luis Suarez

Chelsea line-up? Hard to tell, but here is what I think:

                                                                 Petr Cech

Ashley Cole            John Terry        David Luiz            Brainoslav Ivanovic

                                                             Michael Essien

        Nicolas Anelka                                                                   Florent Malouda

                                Frank Lampard               Fernando Torres

                                                         Didier Drogba

A real clash between 2 competitive sides. What do YOU think about this game?
